 | My Background and ExperienceWelcome to second grade! I am so excited to be teaching second grade again this year. This will be my fourth year at Katherine Finchy Elementary school. I am proud to be part of such a team of dedicated and hard-working teachers, involved parents, and motivated students. I have taught grades 2-4 over the past ten years. I have my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I received my National Board Certificiation for teaching in 2008. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, Alexander and Isabella. Our SchoolWe have so much to be proud of at Katherine Finchy Elementary...We are a National Blue Ribbon School, California Distinguished School, and a Title I Achievement school for the past three years. |
Philosophy
I believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience success and to have fun learning. My goal is to instill a love of learning in each of my students, to create life-long learners, and to create a classroom community where we all work together as a team to accomplish our goals and help each other learn.
